Joseph J. Scalice, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Scalice founded the company in 2006, originally as RetireeWorkforce.com, a niche job board designed for workers over 50.  As the board continued to grow, RW moved further towards Mr. Scalice’s vision of becoming the first company to provide total Human Resources service capabilities of needs assessments, executive search and training to complement the job board services and deal with the significant strategic implications of the impending baby boomer retirements on corporate competitiveness and profitability.  Most recently, under Mr. Scalice’s guidance, the company has added a focus on retention strategies to help companies through the recession and prepare them for the heavy loss of institutional knowledge that is expected to start in 2011-1012, as massive baby boomer retirements occur.

Before establishing RW, Mr. Scalice was a Portfolio Analyst for Concord Advisory Group, where he was responsible for verification and analysis of designated client portfolios.  Previously, he had been a Financial Representative for Lee Nolan Associates, an agency of Massmutual.  He created and implemented financial strategies for clients using a combination of insurance and investment vehicles.  He earned both Series 7 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

Mr. Scalice is a graduate of Bryant University with a degree in Finance.

E. Scott Wingerter, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Wingerter joined RetireeWorkforce.com in 2007 and has played an instrumental role in its emergence into one of the leading niche job boards in the country.  In addition to his lead role with the job board, Mr. Wingerter has significant responsibilities for sales, marketing and customer relations relating to all RW Consulting Group services.

Prior to joining RW, Mr. Wingerter had some 30 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing and advertising.  He was the founder and President of Save on RX Now, an internet-based firm that assisted senior citizens in purchasing pharmaceutical products over the web.  He successfully sold that firm to a Canadian Pharmacy partner.

Before that, he has been a Senior Manager with a newly-formed preferred provider organization, Physician Computer Network, that created a network of physicians to manage workers’ compensation treatment and claims.  He successfully sold that business to a large insurance agency.

Previously, Mr. Wingerter had been Manager at Kelly Scientific, a business unit of Kelly Services.  In that capacity, he grew territorial revenues from $25,000 to over $22 million in three years.   He also was a senior executive for a healthcare advertising company.  During that tenure, he played a significant role in deploying the first nationwide FDA-approved interactive advertising network oriented towards physicians.  He helped raise $40 million in a successful IPO.

He is a graduate of Regis University with a degree in biology and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize, Central America.
